A Message from the Winner

Scott asked me to post this on the blog:

"I just wanted to take the time and thank everyone for their hard work and dedication on this project.  It just goes to show that compassion still exists in the world.  I truly look forward to receiving this army and playing with it proudly knowing that we were able to help those in need with our generous donations of time and money.  So thanks again to everyone who participated.  You truly are a group of amazing human beings.
If any of you find yourselves in the Boston area I’d love to give you the opportunity to throw down against this beast!!
Most Sincerely
Scott Kunian"

Three Hour Warning!

Last post before we take down the button!

So I guess it is time for another summary:

And that's not even all of it :)

Kill! Maim! Burn! Kill! Maim! Burn!

Only a couple of hours left!

So here is the first finished squad of World Eater Beserker and their Rhino:

The second squad and the Bikers need to get their finishing touches and should be done tomorrow morning:

The Land Raider and Kharn himself still demand a little bit of attention but will be done after the weekend:

Just a short reminder,

We will take down the PayPal button at 12 AM EST on thursday, 30th of AUGUST!

What's that sound?

Lucius the Eternal was painted masterly by Mike H.:

His bodyguard, a squad of Noise Marines, were built by Keef and painted as well by Mike H.:

After a long painting session yesterday (I have a quite unfocussed paint style that leads to things looking half-finished all the time until they are suddenly done) I finished the World Eater Terminators yesterday:

Everything else is 90% done. So expect pictures of the Berserkers tomorrow!

Change of Plan

No worries, everything is going fine :)

But some of us, like Justin from Secret Weapon Miniatures, are very busy people.Sadly, something went terribly wrong with teh delivery of the Dreadnought he was supposed to paint, and now he has other obligations that keep him from finishing his contribution.

Justin is not just a very generous genbtleman who sponsored all of the bases for our army and promised us a miniature, too, he is also a gentleman who keeps his promises. Therefore, instead of contributing a Nurgle-dedicated Dreadnought, he will paint a vehicle for the winner to his specifications!

Just to give you a taste of what kind of magic he can work, look at this:

Head Honcho

Hello everybody,
Angel Giraldez is a very busy man. He is not just painting all the studio versions for Infinity and Urban War but also fits in commission work into his tight schedule.

Therefore we are more than happy that he agreed to paint the most important miniature of everyy Black Crusade army for us, Abaddon the Despoiler himself.

Here is a WIP picture:

Angel is actually using part of his summer vacation to help us, this is true dedication to a good cause!

To see more of his amazing work go to the Studio Giraldez blog!

Rubric of Ahriman

Hephesto sent us this image of the finished Thousand Sons - minus the Rhino.

If you want to see more pictures and learn about the cruel fate of that poor little tank, head over to Hephesto's Forge and read the full article.

I know, no updates in the final phase is bad.

But the reason is that we are all super-busy getting things done (and some of us have been to GenCon, to be honest).

Anyway, I have some pictures of the two Chaos Spawns, both finished.

My Khorne-Spawn

And the Tzeentch-Spawn built and painted by Terras from Geek Nation Tours:
